netgear ac1200 usb adapter and connecting with arris surfboard SB6580

Bought this netgear USB adapter. Tech said it would work with my existing modem/router surfboard. doesn't seem to be increasing my wifi speed much.

    1. What is the subscription speed from your ISP?

    2. What exact speed are you getting from the Surfboard? Wired and wireless.

    3. Do you have other devices that you can compare the speed?
