Netgear Genie WNDA4100 Runtime Error
After uninstalling some old programs last week, that I haven't used in years, my Netgear WNDA4100 Genie keeps crashing.
Now, after I double-click the icon to open the program, it starts normally - no problems. I am able to connect to the internet using the Genie, but I need to be very quick before this error message appears and closes the program:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error
Program: C:\Program Files\NETGEAR\WNDA4100 \WNDA4100.EXE
This application has requested the Runtime to terminalre it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support teamfor more information.
I've looked for the original disc that came with the adapter, but I think it may be in storage.
Is there anyway to re-install the program online through a download, without using a disc?
I have Windows XP
Thank you very much.
Hi mishmell,
Remove the genie software under programs. After removing it, install the adapter using the standalone driver. You can download it under support site.
