Netgear wg111t wireless usb adobter doesn't show ssid of dsl modem

hi

i have netgear wg111t usb wireless adapter and installed netgear smart wizard while scanning the network it's not showing the ssid of my dsl modem while it shows the ssid of my other router(acess point )which i use to extend my wifi and also shows some other ssid like evo wireless. i just want to know that why it's not scanning and showing my dsl modem ssid ? while doing scanning i am closer to my modem not to my router but still it's not showing my dsl ssid.
is it mean that it only work with access point and other wirless like evo ??

    Welcome to NETGEAR Community! 

     

    If the adapter detects other WiFi network then it is working fine. May we please know the operating system of the computer? Please try to add the WiFi network. We also suggest that you change the WiFi channel of your router.
