NETGEAR WNA1000Mv2 N150 and a very slow internet connection
Hello,
I have got a Windows 10 Pro operating system on my desktop computer and a 120 Mbps internet. Despite the pretty good internet speed my NETGEAR WNA1000Mv2 N150 WIFI Adapter isn't performing well. My internet router isn't very far from my PC and still the downloading speed reaches 23.12 Mbps, uploading 9.97 Mbps. I would appreciate any advice on how I can improve these results. If you require any more information about my PC or router do not hesitate to ask.
Greetings

The WNA1000Mv2 is a 2.4 GHz-only Wi-Fi adapter. If there are other Wi-Fi networks near by, then they may be interfering with yours. Try changing the Wi-Fi channel. Usually 1, 6 or 11 are best. Realistically, you should not expect to get any better than 30 to 40 Mbps.

Then again, that depends on having a router and PC with LAN sockets that are 1000BASE. Even some of Netgear's recent hardware does only 100BASE, which is slower than your internet.
There is no point in having fast internet if you don't have hardware at your end that can support it.
