I tied uninstalling the driver and installing the stand alone driver supplied on the disk. There was no change. Connecting via the Genie app, the URL or the IP address all continue to fail. In each case the app or the broweser says it can't find the router.
From Firefox:
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.From Netgear Genie:
NETGEAR router is not found or is not supported.
