Nighthawk AC1900 WiFi USB Adapter
I have a new (refurbished) computer and want to use this Wifi Adapter to connect to existing WiFi network. SINCE I can't boot my computer without it looking for internet, can I use this (relatively expensive) AC1900 WiFi USB Adapter and NOT have to haul the system and monitor up to the router, and buy ethernet cable? Is it possible to set up on another system and them move files or anything?
Thanks

I'm a bit confused.
Is this a windows pc?
What adapter are you talking about? AC1900 is a speed, not a model.
Also, why won't your pc boot without an ethernet connection?

Probably the A7000. The only USB adapter I can find with AC1900. Dates from around 2017.
