Older Netgear wireless adapter

I'm trying to get my older Netgear wireless adapter to be compatible with windows 7 if possible. It's a ma111v2 802.11b/n/g

  • The MA111v2 is ancient.  It only supports 802.11b, not 802.11b/n/g.  Its fastest link speed is 11 Mbps.  You'll get, at best, 5 Mbps out of it.  It's unlikely that the drivers will work on Windows 7.  Save yourself the trouble and buy a new adapter.

Yeah, I knew it was pretty old but thought I'd give it a try before buying a new one that probably won't work. :>)
