Netgear A6200 Windows 10 - 5 GHZ problems
I have problems with my adapter finding the 5 GHZ signal from my AT&T router. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. I have tried going into Device Manager, Netgear A6200 Properties, Advanced........

I have an anti-virus, adblocker for Firefox, etc. It was a clean install, but hey, I'm not forcing anyone to try and fix this issue. Mine is working great, just thought I'd let everyone know how I managed to fix mine.

Maybe I am too hard on SLim.
The internet reviews are 50/50 if it is good or bad.
WAY off topic anyways.
The point is, NOBODY should be so desperate to resort to the measures I and others have gone to get WIFI working.
Now I am told "the feature I am using is no longer supported"
What crap. I purchased the ASUS/realtek card for HALF the price of my 6210, and it JUST WORKS. No B.S. to go thru

Trust me, I know the frustration. It was too late to return my WiFi adapter to Best Buy and I was tempted to spend another $60 on a new one. Over an hour with no dropped connection to my 5ghz band so far. Way better than before. My WiFi was dropping every 2 minutes or so (only on the 5ghz band).

I purchased mine 19/May/2016, and it has not worked properly ever.
I am going sue for a refund or something

I had purchased mine January 6th, 2017. 5ghz connection still hasn't dropped. Hoping everyone resolves this issue because I know there are various causes and issues, but I am sooooo relieved that mine seems to be solved. Was losing sleep and my mind over this thing. This thing is an excellent adapter, but getting it to work properly shouldn't be such a nightmare.
