Request for Advanced Driver Options for AXE3000 (A8000) WiFi Adapter
Hi Netgear Team and Community,
I'm currently using the AXE3000 (A8000) WiFi 6E USB adapter and was wondering if it's possible to request a future driver update to include more advanced options—similar to what some other brands offer.
Features I'm hoping to see include:
Selection of different wireless standards (e.g., a/b/g/n/ac/ax individually)
Option for "Fat Channel Intolerant" toggle (to manage channel bonding)
Transmit power control
Option to disable specific bands (e.g., fully disable 2.4GHz, not just “prefer” 5GHz/6GHz)
Human Presence Detection (if hardware supports it)
Better handling or access to Ultra High Band (UHB) features in the 6GHz spectrum
These advanced settings can be critical for users who want precise control over their wireless environment—especially in busy RF environments or for testing and tuning purposes.
Is there any plan or possibility for such features to be added in future driver updates? And is there a proper channel to submit these kinds of feature requests?
Thanks in advance!
the ideas exchange for home is where feature requests should go. Not that netgear monitors it a whole lot.
