RJ45-WiFi adapter

Hi from France,

Outback Power suggests using a RJ45 to WiFi adapter between its info management system (Mate3 or AXS Port) an a router instead of a pretty long cable (20ft).

WNCE2001 is interesting but I lack a USB plug nearby.  All queries lead to USB to WiFi? Any other device that would be RJ45  powered?

For your Info, my standalone 1kWp panels and 30kWh batteries are managed by an OutbackPower outfit including an information manager called Mate3.  Monitoring is done through a Router (WiFi + Modem3G) managed by a RaspberryPi all lit up once an hour to read data and send it to my web page

  • Hi Seylione,

So far NETGEAR do not have home wireless adapter that is being powered by RJ45.

Thanks, but all of them need external power supply.

      None with a RJ45 power supply ?

Sorry for stupid questions but my system is a bit awkward!
