New Wireless USB Adapter
I have three different types of of old Linksys wireless adapters(2017) . None of them are perfect and it was a pain to install mainly because it somehow needs to override Windows (XP) wireless settings and it's not always successful. I've found this model Netgear MA111 802.11b and I was thinking to change my old adapters . Do you guys think that I will see a huge improvement in terms of connectivity signal and setup process?Request to Netgear to start making PCI-E WiFi adapters
Hi guys, Will be great to see Netgear to start making PCI-E WiFi adapters again. There are a number of Netgear users out there i believe who would like this to happen. So I recently bought a smart tv , I’m using WiFi from my portable device . Also my roommate has a portable device , I’m tired of going to the tv configuration to select my device for the WiFi because it doesn’t do it automatically . What can I buy to have next to my tv and connect automatically when I come home or my roommate when I’m not home .Random Disconnects and internet loss
I have been having issues with my A6210 USB adapter. When I start the computer it will connect and disconnect about 2-4 times before the connection is stable. After that, if I am playing an online game or even downloading/streaming for more than 30-45 minutes I lose connection to the internet. Sometimes the adapter resets itself and at other times it just displays that there is no internet connection even though all other devices on the network are working fine. I am using the standalone V1.0.0.39 drivers and have also used the mediatek drivers that I found in other threads around this forum. I just did a fresh install of Windows as well and a mobo/cpu update. This issue is persistent with this USB adapter. Are there any known fixes out there? Or am I out of luck and should just order a better adapter? Also if there is any other info I need to provide in order to get better support please let me know. I really want to get this problem fixed.
