Started Having Issus with my A7000 Nighthawk Adapter

I had the A7000 for probably 4-5 years. It's installed with latest driver dated 1/15/2018 and Netgear Genie running.

Recently, I started to have a lot of Event Log messages like below. This is often accompanied with a blue screen error as well. Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot?

"NETGEAR A7000 WiFi USB3.0 Adapter : Has determined that the network adapter is not functioning properly."

EDIT: It did start around 11/17/2023. I do not install any drivers and firmware manually, all is done through Windows updates.

have you tried a different usb port? Or trial it in a different device?
I've seen USB ports go bad or going bad and not have enough power to run one of those adapters.

Do you need it? Windows might do a better job with its own wifi connection software.

Netgear's maintenance of its "genies" is abysmal. Best avoided.

I updated BIOS and all motherboard drivers. I also removed Genie and network card drivers, and reinstalled them. I am still getting the error in my System Logs.  I have 2 USB 3.0 ports and I tried them both.
