Unable to uninstall WNA3100M on Windows Vista

I have contacted Netgear support but they are unable to help me because my product is more than 3 months old so I'm hoping someone here can help.   I recently started having an issue with a message...

Have you tried uninstalling it via the device manager?

Hi JamesGL.

 

Thank you for the welcome and for trying to help me out.

 

I hadn't tried this but I have now. It uninstalled ok in Device Manager but when I went to Programs in Control Panel the program was still listed and clicking to uninstall is still ineffective, I just keep geting the box with the red cross and it won't uninstall.

 

Can you suggest anything else I might try please?

    Is this the only program that you cannot uninstall under control panel?

      Hi James.

       

      I have managed to uninstall two or three other programs using the control panel - Netgear is still the only one coming up with a red cross.

        Hi dadathome,

         

        Can you remove the folder of NETGEAR under the program files? Check if it will be uninstalled.
