Hi again after doing some research......
I think what I need is a wifi extender with access point.
Do not think this product acts as an access point.
Would that be right?
Thank You

Hi sorry for delay.
So I want to run a cable from my fibre optic router (which has really bad wifi) to an access point near the middle of the house that is going to give out a really good wifi signal.
What Netgear access point would you suggest please? I am not internested in a router and trying to configure it as an access point I just want something very simple to set up.
I cannot move my fibre optic router and even if I could I would not as the wifi signal is so bad.
Also the cable I use would this be an ordinary ethernet cable, from an ethernet port on my router to the access point or does the access point have a different input for the cable?
Many thanks
Karl
