WiFi Adapter A7000 Latency/disconnection spikes

I've recently installed the adapter and it does work well on my new PC. Although when playing games it will temporarily cut out for 20 odd seconds at a time every few minutes. Is there anything I can...

        Yes, i turned off the power saving. Perhaps is a bit better but actually isn't entirely resolved. Any other ideas?
