Thanks. Firmware for this old adapter definitely supports Windows 10. WiFi is really sensitive to obstacles in the path between access point and device.
(It could be that the adapter does not have a good "view" of the WiFi access point.)
It is not clear (to me) whether the adapter consistently drops the connection to both of the WiFi systems in the house, or only drops the connection to the Spectrum system?

It is only the SPECTRUM. ATT is fine and still is in the next room over in my dad's room. Sadly ATT wifi just SUCKS significantly worse than my SPECTRUM and I really wanna keep on the better wifi in my home. I have my extender as much as i could shown to the WIFI Sadly there's a wall, BUT it is all I can do at this point. Due to it is in my kitchen I am stuck like this till I decided to get an ethernet cable. Moved my Moutem+Router once but it was by my TV and the signal kept doing much worse. I really don't have much space, so I am doing with what I can.
