Windows XP Installation aa6210 (error 6210)
If you are lucky/smart enough to still be using a windows XP system and you hit error 1628 you need to bypass the autorun on the CD and go directly to the SETUP.EXE (on the CD). All will be well.

Also when you plug in the adapter the install will go to network and ask if you want the new driver. Absolutely do this
