WNA1000M G54/N150 wireless USB Micro Adapter - Windows 10 Update?

Is there a Windows 10 update for the WNA1000M G54/N150 wireless USB Micro Adapter? I checked Netgear tech support and it only listed a Windows 10 update for the WNA1100 USB Flash Adapter.

Hi JamesGL,

Thanks for your prompt reply and the link to the list of Netgear adapters that have a Windows 10 upgrade available.

However, prior to my request for help, I had previously discovered the same list. Unfortunately, the list did not include WNA1000M G54/N150 wireless USB Micro Adapter.

After further researching Netgear support I found a Windows 8.1 update for the WNA 1000M G54/N150 wireless USB Micro Adapter which I decided not to pursue.

Instead, I hovered over the Netgear WNA 1000M Genie program Icon link and clicked on properties. Next I selected the Windows 7 compatibility troubleshooter that made it possible to have the Micro Adapter function with the Windows 10 operating system.

Presently this temporary solution seems to work. Hopefully, Netgear, in the near future, will develop a Windows 10 update for the WNA1000M G54/N150 wireless USB Micro Adapter.

I can't get the adapter to say it's plugged in? Does anyone know how I can get it to be found by the software for windows 10? Thanks.

  The device does not have Windows 10 driver. You may try the suggestion of east56user and see if the resolves your concern.
