On a serious note:
Same awful answer and it's been almost 3 months!
What is going on? Is something actually being done here?
Windows 10 is new but the technical preview was released to developers early.
This driver used to work on windows 8, it shouldn't take long to make the device to work with a similar new opearting system.
On the bright note:
For those who have been waiting ages, and are on the urge of buying a new a wi-fi adapter WAIT.
I found a solution!
So while I was waiting for nothing, I found out the chipset of this wi-fi adapter and it seems to be the 'rtl8182-88cu'!
1. First go to device manager
Type:
devmgmt.msc
.in run, cmd or start search
2. Then when you plug in your adapter, it should look like this! If it doesn't then unistall that network adapter which you may have ready installed.
3. Update the driver!
4. Now follow the animation below! The driver that I got was:
Realtek Semiconductor Corp. --> Realtek RTL8188CU Wireless LAN 802.11 USB 2.0 Network Adapter!
5. Profit! It should work and you should see a nice blue light on your wi-fi adapter!

I felt that the animation was hard to follow. So I took the couresy to fix that.
Can't edit original post! Though I've placed the solution in a webm format, this should make it easier to follow.
Since I don't think I can embed webms here, I'll post the links to them:
