WNA3100 disconnects when internet not in use

Hello, I have recently purchased a computer which runs Windows 10, and applied my N3100 N300 adapter to it. The adapter runs fine, but if it isn't working on something (a download or a video) it shuts down after a few minutes. Needless to say this is rather annoying. I am running on the most recent driver, and have disabled selective shutdown on USB ports and adapters. What can I do to make the adapter run constantly?

    Hi Pelton,

     

    If it shuts down if no activity on the computer, please try to uncheck the power saving.
