What is the problem? I fear that "inconsistent" could mean many things.
Disconnects? Goes slow? Something else?
You do realise that the WNA3100 is an ageing (2013) device that predates Windows 10?
It is also stuck with 2,4 GHz and no 5GHz.
Might be time for something more modern?

Hey michaelkenward,
I hope you are having a nice day.
Thank you for your reponse. I am actually not having this issue anymore, I turned off my device's USB sleep or whatnot and it hasn't disconnected (that's what I mean by "inconsistent") since.
I am considering buying the adapter recommended by IGN for 2020, but that is only if I'm still having trouble with my WNA3100.
Looks like it will be sticking around, at least for the time being.

That's a well know issue, which is why I asked for more details.
