Apologies for the late reply. Thought I had already responded to this message. Unfortunately, the suggestion did not solve my problem. All recommended tick box selections had already been selected.

Hi WhataPain,
You mean you have unchecked those boxes, am I correct? If yes and still the same problem, have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the adapter?

Correct. The tick boxes are NOT checked.
Yes, I’ve been unplugging and replugging in the adapter for months now to get it to function properly.
Note the following:
Wireless adapter is listed as “Remote Download Wireless Adapter”>Select>Hardware Tab> “Device Function” Names included are “Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter” & “Netgear WNA3100 N300 Wireless USB Adapter” (I’m thinking the “Microsoft….” Is my Bluetooth adapter but not certain. Note that this adapter had Allow Computer to turn off selected but is now deselected…. Same problem)> Select “Netgear….”>Properties>Change Settings>Power Management Tab> Both Tick boxes are deselected.
