WNA3100M - Does it support 5ghz, if so how do i switch to it?

 - Gateway Version

      Mint 17.2

I would like to know if I can use 5GHz with my WNA3100M, and if so, how do I use it? 

I was on my gateway because I wanted to change the channel. But then I noticed, that when I clicked on the 5GHz access point, and its speed, it was way faster, than the 2.4GHz one.

    WNA3100M is not a dual band adapter. It can only detect 2.4GHz WiFi network. To know more about this product, you may check this link WNA3100M Tech Specs
