WNCE2001.Old Model that won’t connect any more. Please suggest a newer model to replace old one.

I used the WNCE2001 adapter to connect my Yamaha Piano keyboard PSR S900 via LAN Cable. My PC has lost its connection and I cannot get it back to update the IP address and Password as the PC can’t find the adapter in the available WiFi list. And the adapter won’t connect to the new modem. Please suggest a more modern adapter to replace the older one. Possibly plug directly into the USB port instead of via LAN cable. Maybe one of the newer Bluetooth/WiFi adapters will work? As the cable has a USB “out to device” port. I could get a USB hub to expand the available ports to allow for USB sticks to still be able to be used as well as the Adapter?

Thanks Reg.

Why not just pickup a cheap extender with an ethernet port and connect that route?
The market for lan adapters isn't large.

If the keyboard does LAN and you can't connect directly to the router, an alternative is Powerline Ethernet. Turns the mains circuit into a fake LAN network. Not perfect, depends on the mains circuit, but adequate for stuff that doesn't move and easier to set up that anything that needs wifi. Can can also get powerline plugs that include their own wifi access point, to get wifi to other stuff near the piano.
