WNDA3100v3 driver refusing to install

If I plug in the usb-adapter it comes up in the device manager list, however, when it comes to the install point and asks to plug in the adapter ( not matter which usb port ) it just refuses to detect it and keeps sending out the same message, yet if I look in the device manager it shows up there without fail.

    same problem - on Devices and Printers it says need to troubleshoot -- and cannot find a driver

      Hi All,

       

      Install it using the standalone driver. Disable antivirus or firewall for the mean time while installing the adapter.
