7 month old router stoped working
I can no longer find my router when I scan networks. It was there until a few weeks ago and now it isn't. I've tried setting it up again according to the app's instructions but no luck. I do have the 2 leftmost lights lit white: power and internet.
Is it a short-lived brick? Is there anything I can do?
Thanks for all help. I hate to think this highly rated thing is junk headed to the trash.

What router model do you have?
Many routers have a wifi on/off switch - have you checked that it is in the on position?
How are you "scanning the network"?
Have you tried reaching the internet through the router (with a PC connected to the router via ethernet)?

Thanks StephanB, I did sort this out last night; you are correct, it was the wifi on/off button
