the extender seamed to never have worked as good as i hoped, but lately i can't even access the extender itself through the webbrowser.    i got an email, that said, i needed to download an impor...

Hi nathalia,

 

Hard reset the extender and join the NETGEAR_EXT wifi network.  After you connect to it, you'll be able to browse to www.mywifiext.net and update the firmware.

    Hard reset, you mean the little pin hole, right? i did that and then reconnected the extender with the router. i still can't access it?! not sure why

      When you hard reset the extender are you able to locate the wifi network named "NETGEAR_EXT" using a laptop or mobile device?

        Hi Christian, 

         

        Yes i can locate all the connections and connect to them just fine, i am just not able to log into my extender and update the software
