Hard reset, you mean the little pin hole, right? i did that and then reconnected the extender with the router. i still can't access it?! not sure why

Hello nathalia, 


When you hard reset the extender are you able to locate the wifi network named "NETGEAR_EXT" using a laptop or mobile device?

    Hi Christian, 

     

    Yes i can locate all the connections and connect to them just fine, i am just not able to log into my extender and update the software

      Hi nathalia, 

       

      Connect to the NETGEAR_EXT network and log into the extender's admin page using the default credentials (Username: admin - Password: password)
