AC Power adapter

Well I just purchased an EX7000 range extender, but it came with a 110v AC (to 12 volt DC) power adapter - the flat 2-pin US type of plug. We live in Italy, and have a 240 volt supply. Can anyone tell me what I need to do? Will it work, or will it fry my nice new extender? If I can't use it, where can I get hold of a 240 AC adapter for use in Europe? I know I can get a step-down (240-110v) adapter, but it seems a really cumbersome solution?
