ac1200 ex6120 ethernet port

will the ethernet port on the Extender be able to be used to give me internet to a switch?

    If the extender is set to the usual extender mode, then the ethernet port will extend the network (just as the extender wifi does).  So the answer is "yes" in that case.

     

    If the extender is set to AP mode, then the ethernet port must be connected to the home network (typically a router LAN port).  The extender can't extend the network to ethernet in that mode (because it is extending the network from ethernet).
