AC1200 Range Extender not extended enough.
I live in the mountains (lots or trees) and have 2 vacation rentals. One (the ND Cabin) about 150 feet from my house and the other (the SS Cabin) about 440 feet from my house. I have a Linksys WRT54G...

Thanks for the prompt responce.
The ND cabin property is connected to my home property but the SS cabin property is across and down the street a little bit so running underground cable is out of the question. Also, the SS cabin is roughly 440 feet from both my home and the ND cabin. Any further suggestions for that situation?

Sounds like you may need a powered outdoor antenna to provide Wi-Fi coverage to the far cabin

If that's the case, then I would agree. You should have a look at the ubiquity web site, for wireless solution exmples. http://community.ubnt.com/

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate you taking time to answer my question however, I said in my original post that I was somewhat ignorant when it comes to WiFi networking so throwing out all these model numbers and such doesn't mean much to me.
I assume that some of the model numbers you stated are different models for the same process. Could you respond again with just 1 setup with model numbers such as:
You need 1 of these for (explanation).
1 of these for (explanation)
1 of these for (Explanation)
and so forth.
Again, thanks for taking the time to help out.

Hi,
if you are referring to my post that is my signature detailing Netgear products I am currently using, not a recommendation of model to solve your Wi-Fi issue!
