AC1200 Range Extender speed slow
I just connected an AC1200 Range Extender to my network. The up and download speeds going through either the wireless connection on the wireless or an Ethernet cable through the AC1200 are bout 4 me...

When you use a wireless extender you are going to have speed loss up to 50% you may want to adjust the wireless channel in the wifi settings of the router to try and improve the wireless speed on the extender.

I think I am having a similar issue.
I have a Netgear N300 modem in the garage on the first floor. I purchased the AC1200 and placed it on the 3rd floor. For some reason when I'm on the third floor right next to the AC1200, the speed is not as fast as the weak signal I am getting when I connect directly to the N300 from the 3rd floor.
Can you please help?
