AC1200 Wifi Range Extender Model 6110

The issue is that I can't seem to get the NETGEAR_EXT extender network to use Installation Assistant. I recently purchased the Model Netgear EX6110 Setup, and I'm having trouble connecting to the Viasat WiFi Gateway. The Gateway supports WEP and WPA security standards. The Model EX6110 supports WPS and lacks an ethernet port to connect directly. Any ideas on how to solve this? Thank you!
