AC1750 Wifi Mesh Extender
I purchased this extender in May 2020. From my perspective the thing has never worked and is a piece of junk. I get signal failure all the time and when I move between diferent parts of the house I get an error message WiFi failure due to invalid IP Configuration. I spoke to the Netgrear people when this happened and their help service was next to useless. I have engaged an IT consultant who has reinstalled my home network. When I disconnect the Netgear (non) Extender all the IP issues disappear. But I can't get good signal strength with out the extender.
So the upshot is that Netgear was no help with the problem. My IT consultant says my wifi system is working perfectly but I could use an extender to improve the wifi signal. The Netgear Extender just doesn't cut the mustard and disconnects my tv through loss of signal, causes invalid ip configureration on my laptops and other peripherial epuipment.
I would like my money back for this non performing Netgear AC1750 Model EX6250 WIFI Mesh Extender because it doesnt extend my wifi signal. I.E. It is Not fit for purpose.

1. if you want your money back, you need to go through support. this is the community forum. Where members of the public help others out. Its not support and isn't going to get your $ back.
2. What router do you use? The router is the backbone of the whole system and what the extender relies on. If its not setup properly or is set so the extenders lease is expiring or something else, the extender won't function properly
3. what firmware is on it? (the extender)
4. What is the walls in your home made of? certain materials block wifi to an amazing amount.
5. Have you tried moving the extender around? many times object in the walls (think hvac, iron piping, foil lined insulation, etc) will block wifi and a lateral move can sometimes help more than moving an extender closer.
- Same problems. NEATGEAR IS TOTAL **bleep**. HOURS ON THE PHONE WITH F.O.B. SUPPORT PEOPLE TELLING ME THE SAME THING, PRODUCTS THAT FAIL OR WORK MUCH WORSE THAN ADVERTISED, NEVER AGAIN. **bleep** THIS COMPANY
