AC750. Multiple extenders.
Hello everyone.
I just connected my first AC750 wifi extender and had no problem at all. I have a two story house with thick walls and I connected the extender downstairs close to my living room an...

The instructions say that the new network names would be MyNetworkName_2GEXT and MyNetworkName_5GEXT. Now for the first extender that I installed downstairs I used the network name MyNetworkName_2GEXT and, again, it worked fine.
Are you using this network name for both the 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz radios? That should work (though the name is a bit misleading). I'm just wanting to understand more precisely what you did.

I figured that for the second extender I could not use the same network name (I might be wrong) so I tried to use the other name (MyNetworkName_5GEXT for that one.
In your case it's best to use different names (because it's pretty clear that your problem is that you can't reach the router from the second location).
The names are arbitrary, you can use different ones if you wish.

when I connected to my router in the same room my router is in, all the lights came on green including the router light. But the router light does not come on in my bedroom. Now, I am somewhat computer savy but I am no expert by a long shot.
Can you connect to the router from the bedroom with another device (laptop, phone, etc)? It sounds like the extender simply can't reach the router.
Note that the extender normally is placed somewhere between the dead spot and the router - ideally in a place where it can make a good connection to the router and also reach the dead spot. So you might try moving it, and see if you can find a spot like that.
If the second extender can reach the first one, then you could also try daisy-chaining the two extenders (connecting the second one to the first). That's not ideal (you won't get as good performance) but it can work.
If neither of those options work, you might need to use a powerline networking device instead of the bedroom extender. For instance, the PLW1000. This will connect back to your router using your house wiring, instead of using wifi.
