AC750 Wi-Fi range extender with pace 5286ac router

Can someone please provide some assistance with linking my netgear ac750ac range extender to my att uverse 5268ac pace router?

 

 I have looked up topics and they talk about not releasing dchp and changing settings and it all seemed pretty confusing. Is there any better detailed soultions that anyone has figured out ?

    What issues are you running into when you do try to connect it with WPS or the manual setup?
