After MAC Addresses entered into Router, can obtain IP address or connect
My router uses MAC Address filtering, so I did the rig-a-ma-row of discovering the client MAC address after disabling first, noting down the two MAC addresses from the WN3000RPv3 and then reenabling, etc. (I got these from my iMac v10.12 Wireless Diagn. tool and my Router's network scanner.
Please note, the WN3000RPv3 works when I have MAC Address filtering disabled on my router, but when I reenable, it can not connect. On the same device which I used previously, it says, 'Obtaining IP...' but never does...
All the LED lights on the WN3000RPv3 are solid green. I can remote into it using the http://<ipv4 address>/login.html and can see the setup, etc. All looks good. I do NOT have MAC Address filtering added to the WN3000RPv3, only my router.
Please note, my home network addressing is not the standard 'simples' 168.192.x.x it starts with '10.9.x.x and I'm not sure if that is an issue or not here..?
many thanks,
John

to be clear, if I disable the MAC filtering on my router and use the same device (Samsong Galaxy Note / tablet), it connects to the WN3000RPv3 and out to the internet, not issues.
Once I enable MAC filtering on my rounter, it can not connect using DHCP (I tried with a static IP and it showed as CONNECTED on the WiFi Setup app, but when I tried to open a web page (www.google.com) nothing, timed out.
thanks,
