After upgrade firmware ex2700 not recognize my USERNAME
Today, after updating the firmware it does not let me access with the user admin and my password, it says that the email is not correct, but it is not an email is the user admin. He tells me that I must to put @. I think the problem is the new firmware

You may have to set up a recovery email and if you can not you will have to factory reset the extender by holding the reset button for 10+ seconds then set up the extender again.

I have the same product as you and I am scared to update my WiFi Range Extender. Mine has been working fine since I bought it. I don't understand what this update is suppose to do, and I really don't understand how to install it. I was going to call Netgear support, but it looks like that would cost at least $49. I guess I will leave well enough alone.
