Another security key plea
Please be patient with an old guy who doesn't know much. Bottom line is I can't connect to the extender network. I keep getting the 'security key" thing. None of the numbers on the back of the unit work. I have tried the reset followed by the supposed number on the back but still no luck. I'm lost. Considering just getting another one and starting from scratch. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Have you tried hardwiring into the extender for setup? If you hardwire in a laptop/desktop to it, make sure to disable the wireless on the device you connect with so the device doesn't default back to the wireless

With the extender plugged into he outlet, the cable goes from the router to the modum? Then what?
