Authentication Problem with N300 extender
I have an Asus RT-AC68U router and I have the N300 set up and connected to it. All lights are green. However when I connect to MySSiD_Ext on my tablet (Nvidia Shield) or phone (Moto X) I get 'Authentication Problem.' I've tried many different ways to get this to work. I have it set up to use the SAME password as the existing WiFi network.
OK I resolved it. I had to factory reset the device. Then did almost the same set up process. Just made sure to connect my tablet to the extender (with the new SSiD) while still in the same room as the router. Then I moved the extender downstairs and reconnected and it's working so far.
