AX1800 EAX20 Loosing connection while gaming
I recently bought the AX1800 Wifi Mesh extender to be able to play multiplayer games on my pc, due to the router being far from my room. I had no problem setting it up, and i connected my PC via ethernet to the extender. After the initial set up, mutiplayer games were lagging really bad, even thou I had great internet speed and a low ping. I manage to use the fast lane option, to connect the extender to router via 5G, and the extender to devices in 2.4 G. This helped a lot, and the games were no longer lagging, but now the extender randomly looses the internet connection and I have to disconnect it from the power source to be able to connect again. It's happening every now and then, almost like every 20 min into the game. The extender is updated to the latest firmware, Firmware Version: V1.0.0.36_1.0.78.

You have your pc wired into the extender?
A lot of things can impact extenders.
It could be distance from the router, it could be interference, it could be obstructions in the walls.
The other deal with using the 5ghz is its more sensitive to distance and obstructions than the 2.4ghz signal. But in turn, the 2.4ghz is much slower and more sensitive to interference from other signals.
Have you tried changing which channel the primary router is broadcasting on?
or moving the extender?

Yes, the pc connected via ethernet to the extender. The router has the function to broadcast in 2.4 G and 5 G, but right i now i have the extender connected to the router via 5 G, and the extender is broadcasting 2.4 G, and it works great. Tried connecting the extender to the router via 2.4 G and it is too laggy. Right now my ethernet cable is short, so i cannot move the extender closer to the router. Im planning to buy a 20ft ethernet cable to move it closer to the router and see if things improve and stop loosing connection randomly.

fyi, 2.4ghz is much slower than 5ghz and more sensitive to interference. Its not ideal for gaming/streaming because of this.
Plus the router is the backbone of the system. You can have the best extender but if its running of a bad/slow router, that's how it'll perform. What router is it connected to?
