Best Range Extender for Stable Gaming Setup?
Hi everyone, I’ve been facing some issues with Wi-Fi connectivity in my gaming setup, especially in a room that’s a bit far from the router. I recently upgraded to the Legion Pro 5 Gen 8 Gaming Lapt...

Extenders are going to add latency.
Your best bets in order of performance for latency:
1. run an ethernet wire. could be cheaper to do than getting an extender
2. Moca adapters (ethernet over coax). These work solid and are low latency
3. Powerline adapters. they're pretty low latency as well but can have issues in specific homes that have powerline interfrence
5. Move the router close to reduce interference. Or try different wifi channels without interference (and avoid dfs channels)
4. then its extenders. If you're looking for an extender and want lower latency, tribands are the best and hardwiring your PC to the extender (but still having your extender close enough to the router it gets a good signal). Extenders aren't the best thing if you're worried about latency with gaming. they're probably the last thing I'd recommend. STreaming/messing around, they're fine.
