Brother MFC-L8650 keeps on disconnecting from wifi extender

Dear all,

  I am very puzzled, I have installed the wifi extender and renamed the extension (corpus) to a different name that the base wifi (wifihome).

However, my printer Brother keeps on disconnecting from this new wifi extension (corpus).

Is this because I use a different name that the base wifi?

Can you help?

    Hello rbouchat

     

    I would try to change the wireless channel on your router to see if the signal will be better and cause the drop to stop happening.

        This seems like a very good idea thank you. However, I use the EX6150 AC 1200 and I can't see where I can change the wifi channel.

      Can you help me?
