c3700 and c3000 connect wirelesly

Hello all,

I tried all my best, but still could not connect C3700 as main router and C3000/n300 cable modem router as the wireless extended/ repeater. Can someone please help me with all the steps from first that I need to follow? Appreciate your Brief details  and time.
