Can’t complete setup on network extender

I have model EX6150v2 / AC 1200 Dual Band Range wifi extender. (couldn’t find my model on the list) Setup via WPS didn’t work so I opened installation assistant via my mobile device. I’m able to ...

I don't have an option to select 5 ghz. When I scroll, I only see other wifi networks or can select manually entering SSDI networking info.

Are you using the web browser in the phone to access the extender? 

 

Another thought is that you could try removing the spaces in the router network name.

    I was able to complete set up using a laptop and following the mobile device instructions since my laptop is too thin, without an ethernet port. Set up would not complete at all using my monile device.

    All squared away now. Thank you!

      FWIW, you can get USB ethernet adapters (including USB-C).  It might be worth picking one up.  I use one with a Yoga (also no ethernet) when I back it up.
