Can i connect a Belkin F9K1015 (Wifi Extender) to a Orbi RBR50 router?

Greetings,

I would like to know if i can connect a Belkin Wifi Extender (F9K1015) to the orbi RBR50 router?
Also, i want to know if i plan to get a orbi 960 series, what kind of wifi extenders can i use on them? can they be connected to the satellites or it can only be connected to the orbi router only.?

would love some feedback on this. as i am new to all this.

    I've attached several different extenders to my mesh system. It connects. But it doesn't integrate with the system.

    Meaning you can have less efficient roaming, instabilities when connected to the extender, etc.

    I usually only recommend if if you're needing to hardwire something in or using low bandwidth like IoT devices.

      Right. That was a fast reply. Because here is the thing right, i plan to upgrade my current orbi setup from the RBR50 to the 960 series. 1 orbi router and 4 satellites which i believe is the maximum the 960 series allows on a wireless backhaul.

      but say i want to use wifi extenders in the new setup.

      orbi 960 router -> 4 satellites
      and the TP-LINK RE705X (2 or 3 of them)

      this will work either way right. it doesnt have to integrate with the orbi but just give wifi to some dead zones.

      this setup is possible right?

        theoretically it should work.

        But dang is that an expensive setup with consumer gear.

        Why not check into the business line of go with the insight line of devices? The RBSE960's are almost $600.

        You could go with the WAX630EP's for much cheaper, supports POE++, has the business class setup. Probably can get it done cheaper and with the business grade equipment.
