Can I use more than one wifi extender?

Hello;

I just bought and installed a wifi range extender AC750 model EX3700, but I still don't get much signal where I need it. I have a house built in 1933, most of the walls are wood lath and plaster, is about 1600 square feet. Can I use more than one wifi extender of the same model to get signal where I need it? Or what would you recommend I do?
