Can range extender affect internet connection to router?
Internet connection drops several times a day (no pattern) - light on modem/router shows connection has dropped. Service provider is struggling to find the reason.
I am using a Netgear range extender. Is it possible that the extender can affect the internet connection coming into the modem/router?

- It shouldn't, and determining if it is the culprit is as simple as switching it off for a day.
