Just need to connect it to the extender then go to www.mywifiext.net in a web browser then it should let you manually connect the extender to the router.

Bring the extender into the same room as the new router hold down the reset button for 10 seconds or longer to make sure it has done a factory reset. Then try to do the setup again.

Thank you for trying to help. I did press the button for at least 10 sec. Then I followed the instructions by pressing the WPS button on the extender and then on my router. The button on the extender blinked for a while then nothing.

Have you tried to use the manual setup by connecting to the extenders wireless then going to www.mywifiext.net and then go through the setup wizard.

Thanks, yes I have I get this message YOU ARE NOT CONNECTED TO YOUR EXTENDER’S WIFI NETWORK. PLEASE CHECK YOUR CURRENT CONNECTION AND TRY AGAIN.

You can connect to the extender via Ethernet directly to the unit in order to get to the settings.
