Cannot access www.routerlogin.net
I've just received my brand new PR2000. In the first instance I want to use it as a range extender on my home wifi (Router is WNDA3100) - mainly so I can access internet via wifi on my smartphone in the garden (router performance within the house is fine).
I've plugged in the PR2000, switched to 'wifi' and managed, whilst still within the house, to 'find' the PR2000 on my smartphone and connect using the password provided. This then takes me to a Netgrear Genie login screen. I've ticked the 'range extender' box, created a name and a passphrase (is 'passphrase' the same as 'password'?) and clicked 'Apply' .... but then nothing happens. When I reopen the smartphone, nothing is remembered it seems.
Now I've tried accessing 'www.routerlogin.net' from my PC browser as per the installation guide, but am consistently told 'Page Not Available'. My router and browser are working fine otherwise.
Each time I re-start my phone it reverts to my normal wifi connection (ie via the main router). I can get the 'settings' screen on the phone to appear to connect to PR2000 instead (ie it's ticked), but each time it then immediately takes me to the same log-in screen so it's full circle.
I'm using WIndows XP.

I think I've fixed the issue myself ....
What I found was that, by clicking on the back arrow on the Netgear Genie login page after I'd named the device and created a password I was then on a screen which offered a further choice box at the bottom (totally absent from the page you're first sent to!) which said something like 'seek automatically'. Anyway, ticked that box, then clicked on 'Apply' and then it went into the two minute set-up mode.
Since then, I've been able to double click on 'Netgear92' on two separate devices (i-phone and i-pod) and successfully connected via the Trek in both cases without any further need to enter password etc.
BUT, mods please note ... I really think that initial page on the Genie needs sorting - it isn't at all intuitive to have to go backwards a page in order successfully to 'apply'!
Checked my i-phone at the bottom of the garden and connected fine via the Trek .... but ... ironically ... I then changed the wifi connection to my main router and I still had connection at the bottom of the garden whereas I hadn't before.
